How Some E Cig Companies Are Trying To Scam Buyers

There is a e cigarette company out there that is obviously trying to scam unaware customers into signing up for a hundred dollar a month e cig rip-off. Seeing this kind of thing pisses me off because I have, and continue to use, a good e cigarette. I feel like companies that try to make a quick buck by suckering people into a scam deal, ruin the entire e cigarette experience with their cheap tricks, for who knows how many people.

There are plenty of great e cig companies where you can get a great deal on a high quality e cigarette. Unfortunately there are also some really scammy e cigarette companies. Surprisingly I found out that some of the bigger name brands of e cigarettes have been declining in quality and service.

Blu cigs, one of the first big name e cigarette companies has been getting a lot of negative things being reported by their customers lately. I was never a huge fan of blu cigs, but now it seems they have completely fallen off. I have heard reports of people complaining about everything from not receiving their order, to being sent dry and empty non-functional cartridges.

South Beach is another big name brand that has had a lot of negative things said about their business practices. I never tried them because they sell their cartridges by signing their customers up for a monthly subscription. I think this seems like a way to charge people for something whether they use it or not. I prefer being able to buy what I need, when I want it, rather than being enrolled in a monthly program that charges you, and sends you refills whether you need them or not.

The most recent e cig rip offs that I have seen usually revolve around this principal. They offer really cheap starter kits, even free sometimes, but if you read the small print that goes along with the deal, you will see that they plan on charging you exorbitantly for refill cartridges over the next year.

I came across one add that offered totally free starter kits. The refill cartridges that come with it cost more than most top quality e cig brands starter kits. So if they charge for even one package of refill cartridges you end up paying way more than you should be. Even for a top of the line e cig kit, and it is an inferior product you would be getting as well.

As I previously mentioned. There are still some great e cigarette manufacturers, that have excellent customer service, and do not try to overcharge for their products. My personal favorite and what seems to be the most popular brand on the web right now is V2 Cigs e cigarettes. I got one of their starter kits a couple years ago when they first started and was impressed with it then. Since then they have continued to improve and expand upon their original line of products and are now the biggest e cig company around.

It irritates me to no end that some companies seem to think they can make more money by scamming customers than they can by just making a good product and running a good business. It is companies like these that give the entire industry a bad name because they would prefer to make a cheap buck over making a great product that people like, re-order from, and tell their friends about (in a positive way). Especially when some businesses continue to prove that you can actually make more money simply by being the best at providing what people actually want, and charging them fairly for it.
